Practical 6: Activity 4 (Blog [and Twitter]Reflections)

Invisible web also referred to as the deep Web, the term refers to either Web pages that cannot be indexed by a typical search engine or Web pages that a search engine purposely does not index, rendering the data "invisible" to the general user.

In my point of view, invisible web is not as effective as Meta-Search and Subject Directory.
It is because invisible website are not easily accessible as it might require researcher to have a Username and Password to access to that database. It is much more inconvenient as compared to Meta Search Engine and Subject Directory.

However, I would still use the invisible web for research in my own respective Diploma as it support students like us in doing research. It will provide us with more relevant result to our research topic.

This week, we are already working on the Wiki Sites and I had learn that managing a Wiki site is not as easy as we thought. The input by other researchers might not be relevant to the research topic, as we, as a researcher are also inputing our own research informations will need to help to amend and apportion the information posted by other researcher. Especially the format of the Wiki.

Today I had been jumping through my classmate LiRong's Blog. I saw her previous post on online purchases. She said that if she have $500 she would buy a camera!

Fuji Instant Instax Mini 7S Polaroid Camera + Film&Case
Which cost her S$ 142.09!
This is damn cool! I would like to buy one with I got the money!
